Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, land, Oba Samuel Odugade, who clocked 100 years on Monday. The bomb blast that killed over 89 people in Abuja on Monday stopped the President from being part of the dignitaries that were present at the centenary service held for the monarch at the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), The Cathedral of St. Peter, Aremo, Ibadan, on Monday.

Jonathan arrived at the monarch palace in Monatan area of Ibadan around 3.35 pm in company with Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State; Senate President David Mark; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha; the National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Mu’Azu; Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory Jumoke Akinjide; and Minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Jelili Adesiyan.
