**POSITION SUMMARY**

**PrimaryObjective:** Analyzes,designs, and develops smaller, less complex technical solutions \(interfaces,performance tuning, utilities or diagnostics\) to business problems\.

**Scope:** Serves as the primary point of contactand support person for designated users related to Global Design s PeopleSoftsystem\. Under the supervision of thedepartment manager this position will carry out the overall approach tosupporting, enhancing and maintaining the system\. Also has primary responsibility for managingand updating the prototype bills of material for the CFRST decor schemes\.

**EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS**

**_Key Accountabilities:_**

+ Creates and maintains prototypical andproject\-specific items and Bill of Materials \(BOMs\) for the CFRST brands withinthe PeopleSoft Orders module to ensure accuracy as it relates to specific brandrequirements\.
+ Serve as a point of contact for Global Design sProject Purchasing s information systems applications as Subject Matter Expert\(SME\)\. SME role will evaluate PeopleSoftsystem issues and determine appropriate approach for addressing eachissue\.
+ Assist department managers in implementingefficient and effective policies and procedures for managing the Global Design ReMapsPeopleSoft application\.
+ Work closely with Global Design System s teamto identify, prioritize and resolve systems issues\.
+ Communicate the status of systems issues andtheir resolution to end users\.
+ Assist in the analysis and prioritization offuture PeopleSoft modifications\.
+ Analyze trends and patterns in PeopleSoftproblems and implement corrective actions\.
+ Create and maintain PeopleSoft Queries\.
+ Assist in the development, implementation andmaintenance of the Global Design ReMap training program\.
+ Provide periodic informal and formal training forPeopleSoft users \(Procurement, Finance and Interior Design\)\.
+ Participate in testing of new PeopleSoftreports and/or processes\.
+ Represent the department in future systemsupgrades\.
+ Monitor or run periodic PeopleSoftreconciliations as required to identify system and user errors\.
+ Provide user support for single user MicrosoftAccess databases or Microsoft Excel macros for users\.
+ Assist with the management of department scomputer hardware\.
+ Represent Systems and Procurement in divisionalmeetings, when required\.
+ Support Buzzsaw enhancements/development withinGlobal Design division
+ Manage eProcurement security, vendor setup andtraining\. Develop parameters todetermine success of eProcurement vendor s involvement/data entry inconjunction with Procurement Systems Mgr/Sr\. Purchasing Mgr\.
+ Manage PO Match Reset process for Procurementusers\.
+ Gathers basic functional requirements, designspecifications and operations requirements for Global Design PeopleSoft systems
+ Assists in end\-to\-end problem resolutions, performanceanalysis, and tuning as required\.
+ Assists senior staff in implementation ormaintenance of database systems
+ Provide technical assistance to projects\.
+ Assists/performs organized systems test andpost implementation audits to determine proper system functionality\.
+ Executes against a defined project plan withminimal assistance, including schedules, deliverables and measurements\.
+ Provides escalated support for production needsand systems maintenance to ensure service levels\.
+ Researches technology solutions to solve lesscomplex issues on behalf of a departmentor customer\.
+ May assist in certifying systems/products andevaluating technical products/solutions\.
+ Manage ReMap Rights Renewal and Securityrequests on a quarterly basis\.
+ Assist in the management of eFax system inconjunction with Procurement Systems Manager and Sr\. Purchasing Managers\.
+ Maintain Non\-Approved Vendors \- Setup andManage Vendor clean up\.
+ Provide overall system s support forProcurement Systems Manager and Sr\. Purchasing Managers\.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**KeySkills/Requirements:**

+ Customer Service Orientation
+ Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases\(Microsoft\)
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem solving kills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Knowledge and/IR experience in purchasing orcomputer applications management support
+ Experience in PeopleSoft supply chain modules aplus
+ Ability to develop efficient and effectiveprocesses and procedures

**Education/Experience:**

+ 4\-year degree preferred or equivalent workexperience within the industry\.
+ Technical certification or equivalent workexperience
+ Experience in PeopleSoft or other similarsystems
+ Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing or computerapplications
