**Qualifications**

**Job Summary**

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all areas of sales support and administration in support of sales activities at the cluster level, supporting proactive sales, reactive sales and providing support to the marketing function\. The incumbent is responsible for assisting sales in the administration of contracting, updating all databases within the department, overseeing market intelligence via internet research, using Hotelligence 360 and updating readerboard activity\. The coordinator will also support sales in the organization of sales trips, blitzes, events and fairs\. The Sales Coordinator will have responsibility for the Preference Plus corporate booker reward and loyalty program and update and delivery of all sales tools including powerpoint presentations, promotions and photography\. One further component of the job is that the incumbent will have overall oversight of administrative areas such as department Rotas and the daily management of the Sales and Marketing budget and Purchase Order process, delivering and update of voucher fulfillment\. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will also be involved in the update of social media activity, implementing all aspects of the brand s service strategy and applicable brand\. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will also support in delivering promotional activities and collaterals in line with relevant brand standards\.

**Job Specific Tasks**

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator has overall responsibility for all elements of administration within the sales department and supports the Marketing Communications Executive\. Overall, the position is accountable for the following:

+ Management of the Preference Plus Corporate Loyalty Program\.
+ Contract administration including update of contract database and communication thereof to different departments within the hotels
+ Participation in the organization of client events, including the update of databases used and confirmation to events
+ Using our MARRFP & Special Corporate Pricing Tools, updating our database of corporate accounts to reflect pricing and acceptance of pricing
+ Using Hotelligence 360, providing an overview of account production and assisting in identifying additional accounts to develop
+ Assisting pro\-active sales managers in resolicitation and telemarketing to allow them to focus on visiting clients
+ Liaising with the Marketing & Communications Executive to Update and develop Sales tools including but not limited to brochures and powerpoint presentations
+ Assists the Marketing & Communications Executive in developing promotional tools and fliers
+ Assisting proactive sales in organizing participation at trade fairs and the organization of sales blitzes
+ Participation in the organization of resolicitation calling days focusing on existing new clients, maintaining and updating lists
+ Assisting in reporting on sales performance on key metrics, visits, lead generation and number of telemarketing calls made
+ Updating and maintaining the department PO log using the Birchstreet purchasing system to create purchase orders and to manage payment of invoices
+ Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute a platform of social media communication via Facebook
+ Execute and supporting the operational aspects of bookings \(e\.g\. generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence\)
+ Providing research into market trends and information on companies using tools such as Google and Linkedin
+ Assisting in extracting information from Knowland readerboard reporting tool on competitive analysis to update stakeholders and call lists
+ Reviewing internet content and maintaining content in English and French
+ Assists in updating SFA Sales Force Automation system with customer contacts
+ Provides assistance in weekly and monthly reporting Host Report, Monthly Sales report and production toolHotel Performance
+ Ensure that the cluster implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service\.
+ Monitor the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders\.
+ Ensure successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and Marriott International\.

**Required:**

+ Some experience of sales at Placement level preferred
