**Sales & Marketing**

+ Conduct general duties to support Sales & Marketing efforts and achieve hotel revenue goals\.
+ Manage and funnel incoming inquires to the appropriate Sales & Marketing team member\.
+ Serve as the onsite point of contact, conduct site tours and meetings for clients and guests corresponding to all questions and requests\.
+ Have strong knowledge of hotel meeting space capacities, menu items, meeting room/event setups\.
+ Solicit, manage, and execute sales process to book local catering events\.
+ Prepare sales related documents throughout the sales process \(proposals, contracts, Event Orders, etc\)\.
+ Enter all Sales Activities, group functions, leads/inquiries into the CI/TY system\.
+ Build and manage daily all Group room blocks, reservations and accounting in the CI/TY, Marsha & Opera systems\.
+ Maintain and execute all on property Events and Group functions\.
+ Create Event Orders; work with Group client \(and hotel F&B/Chef\) on banquet menu selection\.
+ Distribute Event Orders to all departments\. Ensure all client changes & requests are communicated to appropriate departments via standardized procedures\.
+ Manage client Event Order and Event Check changes\.
+ Attend weekly Event Order meetings\.
+ Ensure group events are set up according to Event Order specifications\.
+ Provide on\-site communication and support to group contacts, clients and guests\.
+ Process final billing, commissions, group Marriott Rewarding Event points and Marriott Actualization processes\.
+ Collaborate with DOSM & PR on Social Media plan and implementation\.

**Operations & Administration**

+ Support property operations as directed by General Manager\.
+ Assist Front Office with Opera & Marsha system maintenance and administrative duties \(ie: building rate programs, balancing inventory, etc\)\.
+ Assist Front Office with front desk and phone coverage when needed\.

**Additional Duties**

+ Support & prepare outgoing correspondences\.
+ Provide professional and timely correspondence to both internal and external customers\.
+ Maintain accurate, legible records and files per company standards\.
+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and hotel guests\.
+ Display high personal and professional standards\.
+ Display excellent verbal and written skills\.
+ Perform any other duties as assigned by management\.
+ Previous hospitality and food & beverage experience is preferred\.
+ This position is Tuesday to Saturday however hours will fluctuate based on hotel needs\.
