Marketing Liverpool has had another busy month hosting media from all over the world in the city.

As the season approaches, Marketing Liverpool will be busy co-ordinating the PR for the city’s Christmas campaign – One Magical City. After a successful campaign in 2015, we will be building on last year’s triumphs to showcase Liverpool’s outstanding Christmas offering this year to both a local and international market.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Liverpool in the conference domain. Marketing Liverpool has had a big part to play in national coverage of the Labour Party Conference, which took place in the last week of September in the city. This included features in Conference News, Hospitality and Events North and The Business Post.

In the last month we’ve brought a number of international journalists and bloggers to the city with a focus on social media. This includes the influential fashion blogger Steve Booker who visited earlier in the month – and following the ‘Music is Great’ trip in September, we’ve also seen coverage from Australian culture zine Lost At E Minor and from the social media influencer Sam Evans.

We have also been featured in the French publication Le Monde this month in a feature focusing on both the waterfront and our industrial heritage.

After Liverpool was voted the UK’s ‘best youth travel destination’ at the Youth Travel Awards last year, Marketing Liverpool has also overseen a visit from Youth Hostels Association Magazine.
