President’s Day at the Campus Martius Museum

9:30 a.m. To noon Feb. 16th Come for President’s Day at the Campus Martius Museum. There will be crafts, activities, and games. Reservations are required. Price is $15 per person or $11 per member. Call for more information (740) 373-3750

Arts bridge art exhibition “Independent: Artists of the Mid-Ohio Valley.”

Feb. 16-19th the Arts-Bridge office will hold an art exhibit at 925 Market St. Parkersburg, WV. Artist will showcase broad talents, mediums, artistic interest in independent natures (740) 525-3324 or (304) 428-3988.

Matter Of Balance: Managing Concerns about Falls Class - 12:30 p.m. O’Neil Center 333 4th Street, Marietta, OH 45750 will be holding a class on a matter of balance and managing concerns about falls. This is for 8 weeks. Cost is $8.00. Workbook and refreshment provided. Call to register (740) 373-3914

Fun & Fit Exercise Class – A fun, engaging fitness class designed for those 50+ at the O’Neill Senior Center. Classes are every Monday Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 AM to 12 Noon. 11:30AM to 12Noon Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Tuesday, February 17th

Annual Free Soup Supper at Decatur Community Building

Feb. 17th Decatur Community Association will hold it’s annual free soup supper at 6505 St. Rt. 555. This event is for community residents, finger food and dessert donations are welcomed but not necessary.

Bingo- Come try your luck every Tuesday at the American Legion Post 64 at the corner of Eight and Wooster Streets. Doors open at 4:30 and the fun begin with the sale of bingo cards at 5pm.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly)  Ohio Chapter 399 meets at the First Church of the Nazarene at the corner of Colgate Drive and Mill Creek Road  every  Tuesday from 5:45-6:30PM. The first visit is free!

Line Dance with Donnie Allen – Learn to line dance with a pro at the O’Neil Senior Center every Tuesday!

Arthritis Foundation is offering Tai Chi Classes every Tuesday at 3 PM at the Lower Salem Community Building Classes are free and taught by a certified instructor Please call 740-373-3107

Hamburger Nights – Feeling hungry?  Then check out the fun at the American Legion Post 159 in Williamstown, West Virginia on Tuesdays   5-7 p.m. Be sure to come with an appetite!

Dining with Diabetes

Following a careful meal plan is the first step in controlling blood sugar for people with diabetes. This is also the hardest step. Dining with Diabetes helps by teaching people with diabetes to reduce sugar, salt, and fat in foods without giving up good taste. This class series will take place on Tuesdays, February 10, 17 & 24 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and will be held at the Ohio State University Extension office located at 202 Davis Avenue, Marietta. Belpre Senior Club Home-Style Lunches- The Belpre Senior Center is offering home-style lunches every Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon for $3.00. Free transportation for Belpre seniors can be obtained by calling for a van 740-423-6022 prior to 10 AM on lunch days.

Arthritis Classes will be provided at the Ewing School at 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM every Tuesday and Thursday. Classes are open to the public, and reservations can be made by calling 740-373-3781 extension 22.

13th Annual Good Works Walk Fundraiser

First United Methodist Church, College Street, Athens will be holding their 13th Annual Good Works Walk Fundraiser. It will begin and end at the church. Adults and Children of all ages are welcomed. Brava Mom Prom 2015

Come to a Ladies Only Event. This event will raise money for Brava Childhood Cancer Awareness. This will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 8:00 PM-11:00 PM. Hunter’sHeroes Purse Bingo

April 25, 2015 6:00 PM at Marietta VFW Post 5108 at 319 Pike St. Marietta, OH 45750 will be holding a purse bingo as a fundraiser for Hunter’s Heroes March of Dimes. Tickets are $20 for 20 games. Only 300 Tickets available due to seating limited.
