January Jones takes selfies while driving?!

Mad Men actress January Jones has everyone talking for the wrong reasons. She failed to say that she doesn’t hate the dangerous idea of taking selfies while driving; but in fact hates the way she looks in them. Say what?

‘I hate selfies while driving, I look so distracted,’ the Mad Men star wrote on her most recent Instagram upload. That’s just madness, January. Madness.

A syringe was found next to Peaches Geldof’s body

It has now been revealed that police in fact did find a syringe at the late socialite’s home in Wrotham, Kent. This revelation comes after it was initially announced that there were no drugs or drug paraphernalia found at the scene of her death.

British newspaper The Sun reported: ‘The needle is believed to have been moved from the bed where her body was found and put in a drawer. This was not a cover-up. It was apparently done because it was such a harrowing thing to see and there were young children in the house.’

#BringBackOurGirls located

Nigeria’s chief of the defence force, Air Marshall Alex Badeh, yesterday announced that the location of the abducted schoolgirls has been identified. But he warned that the military is reluctant to use force to rescue them, as this might put the girls at grave risk. Their location has not been publicly disclosed.

‘We want our girls back. I can tell you we can do it. Our military can do it. But where they are held, can we go with force?’ he asked the crowd.

People roared back, ‘No!’

‘If we go with force, what will happen?’ he asked.

‘They will die,’ the demonstrators said.

Meanwhile, surely time is of the essence.

40% of Zuma’s Cabinet are women

The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) has said that they are very pleased and impressed with the number of female members in President Jacob Zuma’s new Cabinet.

‘The CGE believes although 50/50 gender parity has not been reached, it is within reach and should be possible to reach in the next election,’ it said on Monday night.

The Cabinet comprises 15 female ministers out of a total of 37, which includes Zuma and Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Female ministers thus constitute about 40% of the membership of the new Cabinet, while male members make up 60%.

‘Given that in the previous Cabinet women ministers constituted about a third of the members … the CGE is pleased to note this as a significant step in the right direction,’ the CGE said.
