Christina Aguilera is pregnant!

Just a week after she announced her engagement to Matthew Rutler via Twitter, Aguilera has announced that she is, in fact, already expecting her second child. Already parents to six-year-old Max from her former relationship with Jordan Bratman, the couple apparently couldn’t be happier.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner cover Marie Claire Mexico

These girls are taking the world by storm! The new generation of Kardashians/Jenners is now making headlines for covering the latest issue of Marie Claire Mexico modelling beautiful looks made by Tory Burch and PAVON. ‘We had a great time. It was especially different for Kylie. It kind of showed her in a different light, so I think that was cool.’

Kendall, now 18, and an up-and-coming model in her own right, explains that she’s ‘always enjoyed watching and looking at high-fashion models and supermodels. I always wanted to be them. Even as a kid, I remember always looking at my mom’s magazines. I would look up to them and I thought they were so beautiful and they seemed very elegant and cool.’ Adding that ‘It’s just something I really wanted to be.’

We think they look great in this shoot. Do you?

Bells and whistles kick off Milan Fashion Week

Last night, the American designer Jeremy Scott wowed the audience at Milan Fashion Week with his first full collection for Italian fashion house Moschino. The delayed show, which saw Katy Perry arrived 55 minutes late after the official start time – and consequently booed by the audience as she made her entrance – at least got the crowd talking. Scott’s influences referenced American culture as his collection focused on dresses and robe coats in the McDonald’s tangy red and yellow colours, imprinted with the iconic double gold arches and the label ‘Moschino’. SpongeBob SquarePants also made an appearance…

Fendi’s show, on the other hand, featured camera-mounted drones (as we explained yesterday), but the most exciting moment came when genius creative director Karl Lagerfeld sent Cara Delevingne down the runway looking incredibly chic, donning a sleek, faux-fur-hooded coat and carrying a doll version of the Kaiser himself, complete with video-recording capabilities. Of course.

Arizona passes inhumane Republican-sponsored gay bill

This is 2014, right? In an unfathomable move, the Arizona House and Senate have passed legislation in a vote of 17-13 that basically allows businesses to straight up refuse services to gay people, based on religious grounds.

It was reported that: ‘The bill allows any business, church or person to cite the law as a defense in any action brought by the government or individual claiming discrimination. It also allows the business or person to seek an injunction once they show their actions are based on a sincere religious belief and the claim places a burden on the exercise of their religion.’

Aren’t we supposed to have advanced as human beings? Human rights should always be gained, not refused or taken away.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) denies leaking documents of Oscar Pistorius’s murder trial

The National Prosecuting Authority has denied leaking documents pertaining to the murder trial of Olympic blade runner, Oscar Pistorius. This comes after some media houses’ claims that they’re in possession of documents revealing details on the prosecution’s case.

More on this in the above video.

In other SA news, The Cape Argus can reveal that the Mother City’s proposed new logo will be presented to the council for approval next week.
