Manchester United Football Club could well be in for a busy January transfer window, but mostly made up of outgoing transfers rather than new faces coming in through the Old Trafford doors. The latest rumour comes out of Italy, and the usually reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.

The report says that Everton could be preparing to offer Manchester United £40million to secure the signatures of both Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin in a double deal.

Both Depay and Schneiderlin have struggled to have any real impact in Manchester thus far, since their moves in the summer of 2015 and reportedly Jose Mourinho will let out-of-favour players leave Old Trafford.

Now, in my opinion, it looks inevitable that both of them will either leave the club permanently or on loan in January which is probably the best thing to happen for everyone involved.

Manchester United would recoup some of the transfer fee that they paid out just over twelve months ago, the players won’t be sat rotting on the bench and the team who decides to purchase them will be getting some very talented footballers.
