With overall direction from the Managing Director, the Branch Sales Manager will be responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day sales of the branch. Branch Sales Manager will define and set overall sales strategy and direction for Branch. Branch Sales Manager will effectively translate this strategy into tactical sales goals and expectations for the branch Business Development Managers. Branch Sales Manager will also lead in management responsibility for the sales team and will be responsible for hiring, supervising, mentoring, developing, training and counseling Business Development Managers and any sales support staff.

• Develops and implements overall branch sales strategy and individual account/client strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals of the branch; continuously evaluates strategies to grow and penetrate current business base and develop new business opportunities.
• Responsible for operational effectiveness and performance of sales team. Ensures that protocol is followed in terms of properly reporting and recording sales activity data.
• Works closely with Recruiting Manager to ensure the efforts of the Business Development Managers and Recruiters are cohesive and coordinated to achieve objectives.
• Develops client relationships, manages the proposal effort, develops and delivers client presentations, and assists in client and consultant issue resolution.
• Interviews, hires, trains, mentors, coaches and counsels sales staff in accordance with corporate sales standards and procedures.
• Conducts daily status meetings and weekly sales team.

• Minimum of five years of sales experience, including at least two years sales management experience.
• Advanced professional level business writing, grammar and oral communication skills. Experienced presenter. Can comfortably give and receive feedback.
• Ability to influence through functional knowledge/solutions the opinions or decisions of others.
• Ability to position self as thought leader to prospects, customers and staff.
• Leads workflow, influences staff, prospects and customers.
• Effectively resolves problems and conflict.
