Job Summary:
You will be assisting the medical billing hub manager or branch manager to ensure smooth and timely operation in the processing of claim denials. The Denial Specialist (you) is responsible for processing claim denials daily within company established timelines for a vast amount of denial reason codes.
Duties:
* Research and resolve in Claims Management, any claims received within 7 business days from date of denial
* Run Claims Management daily, working oldest denials first for assigned denial reason codes
* Enter additional claim information or correct patient demographic and insurance information into the medical claim software.
* Research and resolve or follow up on all assigned AR
Skills:
* Knowledgeable on the insurance process, medical terminology and coding
* Proficient with Microsoft Suite
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Superb verbal and written communication skills
* 10-Key by touch
