Medical Billing company located in Lima, Ohio is currently seeking a Certified Medical Coding Specialist to join their coding team. Job duties include, but are not limited to: * Reviewing medial documentation and health records for necessary information for appropriate CPT, ICD-9 and ICD-10. * Provide medical coding services for multiple clients. * Assign CPT procedure and E&M; codes for clinician services to assure appropriate billing and reimbursement. * Assign diagnostic (ICD-9 and ICD-10 as applicable on all medical records to ensure proper billing and reimbursement. * Assign modifiers to codes as appropriate. * Compile and maintain logs, reports, and statistical records, and researches records to locate health data as requested. Qualifications: Associates degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management or related area of study is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of coding related work experience preferred. Equivalent combinations of work experience and education will be considered. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are a must. Ability to multi-task, problem solve, work independently and focus on work tasks. Excellent communication skills required. Mus possess or be in the process of obtaining one of he following (Or equivalent) certifications: * Radiology Certified Coder ( RCC) * Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) * Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) * Registered Health Information Technician ( RHIT) * Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) * Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P) * Certified Clinical Documentation specialist ( CCD) * Certified Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular (CIRCC) Pay is based on experience, education, qualifications and certifications Experienced/Qualified candidate can apply on-line at manpowerjobs.com.
