The Dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist will work on site at a client location and must be available to frequently travel to recruiting centres in the surrounding cities.

The Dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist will meet forecasted candidate pool levels by utilizing traditional and non-traditional channels to source qualified candidates. Traditional channels may include partnerships with local businesses, government entities, professional and industry associations, colleges, universities, trade schools, open houses, job fairs, other community partnerships etc. Common non-traditional channels may include digital, social media, job boards and other candidate connection sites or media outlets.

This role will develop a recruiting plan in conjunction with the On Site Manager to proactively build candidate pools based on the business demand/forecast provided by the On Site Manager.

This role will manage the applicant flow through qualifying and screening candidates, resume analysis and management, managing candidate intake process, candidate interviews, onboarding and effective management of candidate database.

This role will build relationships across both the digital and local community to leverage information and positively impact the business. Must also identify and attract quality candidates to engage with Manpower and remain current with commonly-filled job description details so appropriate talent is targeted from the pipeline, as well as carefully watch talent inventory levels within their targeted pools to maintain the right level of supply for his or her service delivery partners.

Effectively use latest technology to plan and execute talent acquisition activities within the market. Facilitate marketing campaigns including email marketing, thought leadership, presentations, drop offs, recognition days etc.

+ Develop and execute dedicated recruiting – tasks include (but are not limited to):

+ Creating and implementing candidate sourcing strategies through market research, understanding client needs, lead generation, effective advertisements and innovative solutions.

+ Create and implement candidate attraction campaigns or plans aligned with the business direction of the client.

+ Use of appropriate sourcing tools including developing and maintaining community focused relationships, networks, association links, educational groups, passive candidates and other resources to source and qualify candidates.

+ Utilizes social media, job boards and digital outlets to source and qualify candidates.

+ Remain up-to-date with changes/advances in talent acquisition technology and techniques within the online communities and tools

+ Manage candidate intake process including prescreening, resume management, interviews, onboarding, database management and assessments.

+ Develop and execute effective Associate Retention strategies

+ Provide backup support for Onsite Manager during absence/vacation

+ Minimum 1 year work or project experience using multiple channels to attract and source candidates

+ Must be able to work virtually and influence prospective candidates without face-to-face interaction

+ Must be available to travel to recruiting centres close to Manpower’s clients to host hiring events
