**General Description**
Role is responsible for all areas of Benfits, HRIS and general HR administration including but not limited to:
Benefits:
* Assist HR management, brokers, and carriers on plan design and communication strategies
* Review benefit plan utilization and performance metrics, and suggesting measures for improvement
* Ensure compliance with, and coordinate plan audits as mandated by, federal and state regulations and company policies
* Provide guidance to team members on a day-to-day administration of benefits plans, including billing, claim disputes, LoA administration, and employee communication
* Managing annual open enrollment
* Train new hires and employees on benefit plans
* Improve Health and Wellness initiatives including recommending new strategies, implementing new strategies as approved
* Participate on Regional Benefit committees HRIS and Administration:
* Evaluate and innovate new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency with a mindset toward repeatability
* Oversee data management of employees within Samsung's proprietary global HR Information system
* Assist with creation of standardized and ad hoc reporting
* Conduct database audits on-going Location: Austin, TX
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Experience administering large employer H&W, 401(k), and other voluntary benefits plans
* Experience with HRIS maintenance, including process development and compliance preferred
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to travel 20 percent
Education, Training, Certification(s):
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field
* Minimum five years' experience in Benefits, HRIS, or HR Generalist role
* Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity
