The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path of both current and future CoreLogic products as well as being engaged in the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases. This includes new product conception, definition, launch, and post-launch activities, including increasing the profitability of existing products. This includes managing products and services through the development cycle as well as working with and influencing sales, marketing, finance, analytics, operations, implementation and product development, and senior management to achieve revenue and profit goals.
This position is responsible for managing CoreLogic's industry leading portfolio of Automated Valuation Models (AVMs). It provides an opportunity to oversee highly complex analytic products that are used in a wide range of mortgage, real estate, and marketing activities as well as work with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and marketers. Requires approximate 10-25% travel and there is flexibility in home office location including Irvine, CA; San Diego, CA; Oakland, CA and Sacramento, CA.
**Job Duties**
+ Define product strategy and product roadmaps with clear objectives and long-term vision.
+ Track product revenue and costs and achieve revenue and margin goals.
+ Determine and evaluate new opportunities to increase revenues and profits.
+ Manage ROI and related financial analysis of products. Identify product enhancements to balance a favorable return on investment with customer needs.
+ Manage the coordination and analysis of market research to understand customer behavior, product satisfaction, and emerging business opportunities.
+ Work with prospects, customers and partners to define product requirements and functionality. Engage in customer-facing activities such as customer conferences, customer visits and tradeshows.
+ Ensure delivery of innovation and customer value through product development process.
+ Define value positioning for products and assist other areas of the organization in product marketing and positioning.
+ Formulate, document, and communicate tactical, actionable requirements for product development.
+ Team with product development to orchestrate the development and release process.
+ Suggest and drive partnerships for products.
+ Collaborate with various departments to ensure product delivery and quality goals are achieved and maintained.
+ Expand analytic offerings utilizing data assets available throughout CoreLogic.
+ May manage team of product analysts/managers
**Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
+ Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree strongly preferred
+ Seven years of proven experience in high-tech business or product management including: revenue forecasting and budgeting, product/business strategy, market research, pricing and packaging, and product development.
+ Experience with predictive analytic solutions is preferred, including an understanding of statistical models and how they are evaluated and consumed by end-users.
+ Industry knowledge in residential real estate, mortgage, and/or financial services is highly desirable
+ Ability to assess product opportunities through market research/client feedback to develop market sizing, pricing, costing and ROI analysis is necessary
+ Experience with project development methodology (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Extreme) preferred
+ Demonstrated leadership/supervisory, negotiation, and data analysis skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience
