Reporting to the Central States Market VP & Principal Consultant, the Senior Career Management Consultant (Senior Consultant) wil, provide career coaching and job search guidance for candidates taking outplacement services in the Denver office. The Senior Consultant will combine his/her business expertise and experience with career coaching skills to help our corporate clients’ former employees (candidates) navigate today’s career options and job search realities, supported by Right’s proprietary award-winning technology.

Responsible for business aspects of the career management business, the Senior Consultant’s primary responsibility will be to provide Denver candidates outplacement and career coaching via one-to-one meetings and group activities, to source and plan relevant guest speakers and enrichment activities, and to ensure that candidates are accessing their outplacement services on a regular basis. In addition, the Senior Consultant will work with a Denver office staff team that includes sales, operations and support personnel. The Senior Consultant may also partner with the Business Development team to support sales efforts, and serve as a subject matter expert to provide insight and perspective into the rich depth and effective outplacement services Right provides our clients’ former employees.
In addition, the Senior Consultant should bring the latest thinking to these areas, accessing multiple venues of continuous learning. The Senior Consultant must have maintained their business connections and community connections to stay current on best practices and maintain a broad perspective of other services and technologies being offered in career management and a broad perspective of what other companies are doing.
The role may require occasional travel as business grows.
Responsibilities
* Provides career coaching and job search guidance at all employment levels with the objective of achieving tangible and timely outcomes with candidates.
* Assists candidates in setting job search/transition objectives and developing realistic work plans to achieve these objectives; actively engages candidates in Right Management’s services and monitors their participation and progress against plans.
* Develops innovative and strategic business solutions for candidates; applies local market knowledge, business experience, information and analytical perspectives to improve and accelerate candidates’ job transition successes.
* Delivers engaging, impactful group presentations using Right Management theory/concepts, intellectual property, methodology and material. Presents clearly and concisely; applies adult learning principles to seminar delivery and appropriately adjusts presentations to meet the audience and its needs.
* Assists candidates in developing forward-focused transition strategy including personal marketing material such as resume, bio, on-line social media profile, exit statement, etc.
* Provides employment separation support meeting(s) to impacted employees.
* Conducts outreach to pending candidates, participates in prospective candidate meetings, actively seeks business development opportunities through candidate alumni; collaborates with sales consultants in developing and executing delivery solutions.
* Learns and understands and stays current on Right Management’s methodology and material; participates in continuous improvement processes for all aspects of the Denver office’s Career Transition practice and own professional development; applies to all candidate contact and meets the objective of achieving tangible and timely outcomes with candidates.
* Consistently meets or exceeds Right Management corporate satisfaction scores on all activity.
* Tracks and records candidate progress, service quality and cost effectiveness to meet established region success metrics.
* Manages the office’s delivery cost to business and responsible for maintaining company office gross profit goals.
* Collaborates with Sales team to demonstrate capabilities and develop new business opportunities contributing to the overall achievement of the regional and group plan.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Adult Education, or similar.
* Five or more years of experience in industry, and/or consulting services, human resources, recruiting/placement, training & development, career management/outplacement, business management .
* Executive level experience in a business environment is required. Previous P&L responsibility is a plus, as is experience in a large multi-national company.
* Experience coaching executives around a variety of outcomes, not limited to career transition.
* Experience supporting business development activities, including serving as the SME in sales calls with clients is required.
* Solid working knowledge of economic/hiring trends in today’s web 2.0 technology climate.
* Demonstrated ability to coach and provide effective, professional feedback. Able to coach candidates to successfully implement career transition/job search techniques and strategies.
* Ability to organize and structure delivery of coaching to ensure maximum effectiveness in working with candidates in group or one-on-one sessions.
* Track record of successfully coaching all levels through career transition, including creating viable strategies that recognize and leverage the impact of rapidly changing economy and technology on career options and career transition.
* Ability to develop, deliver and facilitate impactful presentations, engaging and effective workshops and discussions.
