I think you all have heard of LulaRoe, right? If you haven’t, stay with me ladies, you’re gonna want to.
It’s a relatively new clothing line that people can sell out of their homes. They host pop up shops, online sales, and even Facebook lives sale events! The clothes are super cute, but most of all, they are so comfy. Actually, they are everything that I have been writing about all these years. Comfy, casual, cute, practical, modest, stylish, and can even be dressed up as well.
The names of each article of clothing is a girl’s name. So when you hear someone saying “oh is that a Alyssa or a Nicole?” you know that they are talking about LLR. And trust me when I say, if you haven’t gotten on board yet, you’ve got to.
I am not getting paid to say this, I just love their clothes and I have purchased a lot already. I wear the Cassie skirt (a basic pencil skirt that is so comfy!) and Julia dress to work when I substitute teach. I wear the Classic T half-tucked with a pair of jeans for a casual day. I wear the Amelia (my favorite dress – it has pockets!) when I want a cute, comfy look. And I wear the leggings when I just need to wear leggings.
Let’s talk about the leggings for a second. They are like butter. How can a pair of leggings feel like butter, you ask? Well, honestly, I don’t know — but they do. They are a type of material I don’t think I’ve felt before. So smooth and comfy. They have solid colors or designs and I have some of each!
Today, however, I wanted to talk about the Carly. This dress is so fun. It’s a high-low tee-shirt dress. It can be worn casually or dressed up. It’s comfortable and practical. Right up my alley. I am going to show you three ways to wear it!
Lula Roe – Carly
This dress was sent to me by my friend Trisha who sells LulaRoe. As you can see, it’s loose fitting, flowy and basically like an oversized tee shirt. As cute as it is just like this, it’s actually my least favorite way to wear it!

Another fun way to wear a Carly is with a shirt over the top. This shirt is from Ross, but it works really well with a Classic Tee from LLR. IF you knot the tee in front it brings the dress in and gives you a waist. Unfortunately for me, it also makes it a little shorter. On normal people that wouldn’t be so bad, but I’m tall and always struggle with length. It’s not too bad though, still wearable.
Carly Knotted
Now this look only works with leggings or skinny jeans. Because it’s so loose on top, that means you’ve got to keep it skinny on bottom. But I love the high-low with the knot. I love that it turns it into a big oversized tee. I really just love this look! I currently only own 2 Carlys, I think I need to remedy that soon!
