Please read the rules at the bottom of the post. Please.

The reef is gone. It's a sad day but I had to do what I had to do. Well anyway, I offer for sale a really beautiful reef setup that I've put a lot of heart into but need to have it out of my apartment for various reason. It is a 100g 48lx24wx20h reef ready aquarium made out of 1/2" glass. The front and both sides are starphire glass. The tank is braced on top and bottom, so it's build like a war tank and definitely can survive a decent degree earthquake. Black silicone all over. It has been built by a local tank-maker from Staten Island and it obviously holds water.

You have a center based glass overflow with water-jet cut notches, polished and beveled. There is an easy to clean durso pipe with strainer and a second, emergency pipe in case your main drain clogs. Dual outputs on each side of the overflow with loc-line returns. There is absolutely no scratch in front or sides. The back is painted black, but can be scraped off with a razor if needed. The only blemish is a small chip on the top left corner (I was hanging my light and chipped it:)) but it is only cosmetic and does not affect the tank in any way. The setup is less than a year old (you can check my build thread for reference) and I cleaned it very well so it's ready to go. I will include all plumbing if you decide to get tank+sump combo, which includes a filter sock holder, all pvc pipes and gate valves to split return pump into feeding two media reactors. Check my build thread for pictures of the plumbing system.

Price for the tank is $400. I over twice that to get it done so I think the price is good, therefore the price is FIRM.

Second, I have for sale a custom made glass sump of a decent size that perfectly matches the tank. The sump dimensions are 32Long x 20Wide x 15-1/4" H. The skimmer area is 15", then bubble trap is 5", Refugium area another 7" and pump area is 6". You can eliminate the baffle between refugium and pump to have a larger area.

Price is $100 firm

Rules:

I've learned the hard way that some people in our reef community can't appreciate a good deal and don't understand what FIRM means, therefore I have to make these rules to save both parties nerves and time.

-pick up is in Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, not far from Verrazano Bridge and both Belt Parkway and BQE

-the price is FIRM, please, don't lowball me. I received ridiculous offers when I was breaking down the tank and I don't want to repeat that. If you're looking for a 100g custom made starphire tank and willing to spend a $150, please shop elsewhere. Thanks

- the price is for tank only, the only deal I can make is if you buy tank+sump

-the stand is not for sale so please don't inquire about it. However, you can put this tank on a stand meant for a standard 120g as it has the same footprint minus the ridiculous height:)

-you need two strong people to take the tank out. I live in an elevator building so if you put it on two dolly carts you can ride it out of the building through the basement without lifting it

-I am not going to hold this tank to anybody unless it is for a few days and I got paid in full

Thank you for your understanding. The tank is going on craigslist as well, I need it gone so I can focus on my new setup.

I am also selling an Eheim 1260 pump that can be matched with the system, check this link
