Science and Math Fete at CFAL and ELC attract a Huge Crowd
Mangaluru: It was a perfect and Sunny Sunday for the students, parents and friends to have some fun and frolic at a “Fete” organized by Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL) and Early Learning Centre (ELC) on Feb 5th at their premises in Bejai-Kapikad. The fete had various groups come together, which included talk by Indian Montessori Centre (IMC Bangalore) about teachers training and early education. There were Science and Math counters set up by IIT/ NITK / CFAL Alumni, Science Utsav and Sunday Science school. Besides this, there were stalls set up by Animal Trust Care, Bharath books, Zeuse fitness, Japanese Culture shop, Abharan Jewelers, food stalls, Chaat, women’s self-help groups and various other local businesses, which were patronized by the visitors to the Fete. The DC of Mangalore Dr K G Jagadeesha was the Chief guest.
Addressing the teachers and students, Dr Jagadeesha complimented CFAL and ELC for their efforts in nurturing their students in the academic career and for moulding them to be future leaders of this nation. It should be noted that CFAL has the best results in Mangaluru in all STEM examinations and has a passion for promoting science, math and holistic learning in the region.
During the Fete, lab activities were held comprising of-practical experiments, Math quiz, Origami, Electric Circuits, Tangram; Contets like Rubik’s Cube, Math Marathon, Math Paper Presentation, Sudoku, Treasure Hunt were held; As part of the Workshops-Hear your Heart, First AidTips, Healthy Feet, Save a Life in 8 seconds, and check your skin were held; There were also talks on Early Education, Career Guidance, Best Universities in India and IAS Officers clear doubts;
