Is Leo trying to downsize? Is he, the environmental activist, trying to reduce the size of his carbon footprint?

Just a week after putting a Malibu beach “bungalow” on the market for $11 million, Leonardo DiCaprio has put his cozy Studio City ranch-style home on the market for a cool $2.4 million, reports Variety. No word on whether this home could help you escape the agony of existence.

The 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house is located in the very exclusive Colfax Meadows neighborhood—also home to Dodger ace Clayton Kershaw—and sits on a spacious 15,000 square foot lot. There’s also a pretty sweet pool and sizable lawn that goes around the house, which doesn’t seem very drought-friendly for someone who wants to save the planet. Perhaps the next owner canxeriscape the yards.

Could he be dumping these homes in order to pay back the $25 million he got for The Wolf of Wall Street that came from a pretty shady Malaysian fund?

Maybe he just wants to chip in and ease the housing market in Los Angeles, which will be wrecked when the Neighborhood Integrity Initiative, which he supports, possibly passes in March.

And while his look sometimes might suggest it, Leo won’t be out on the streets after he moves these two homes. According to Variety he still has a handful of New York condos, a Palm Springs getaway, and a few more homes in L.A., including one in Silver Lake—which is not East Los Angeles.
