The recent chapters covered the climax -> finale of the auction arc. A LOT HAPPENED so it’s difficult to summarize but here. ;u;a
[HAISE SIDE]
- Seidou and Haise were fighting was Seidou was significantly stronger. It was revealed that Seidou is one of the successful subjects who received the Owl kagune.
- Haise was overwhelmed by Seidou’s strength and was at the verge of death but was saved and protected by Hinami.
- After seeing Hinami protect him, Haise told her to leave and proclaimed that he is no longer the person she knew. In the end tho, he relied on Kaneki to give him strength to protect.
- In the end, Haise faces a young Shironeki and vows to save him. He fights Seidou once again by biting a bit of flesh from Seidou’s face and then managing to stand toe-to-toe against him.
- Arima and Akira arrive to the scene. Akira sees Seidou and vice versa but Seidou ran off. Arima was about to kill Hinami who was injured from the fight against Seidou but Haise made him stop. Haise asked for ownership rights for Hinami while telling a lie.
[QUINX SIDE - Saiko and Shirazu]
- Nutcracker dies from a joint attack with Hayashimura, Saiko and Shirazu. Shirazu does the landing blow but he does so with a shred of doubt.
- Saiko fights with her kagune but it wasn’t shown so we don’t know the appearance of her kagune yet. However, the marks that were left behind by her kagune are very similar to Kaneki’s.
- Saiko walks to where Haise is and witnesses the entire fight.
[QUINX SIDE - Mutsuki and Urie]
- The fierce battle against Big Madam continues and it’s shown that Urie’s kagune is now significantly stronger. However, BM was much stronger and was about to eat Urie whole.
- Urie loses control for a brief moment and unleashes his thoughts and emotions and Mutsuki hears it. BM tries to kill them but Suzuya’s Squad makes it in time and kills her.
- Before Urie goes unconscious, he says that Mutsuki is a woman since he smelled something from him.
[HIRAKO SIDE]
- Hirako vs Uta takes place but Uta was clearly on the advantage. The rest of the squad fight off the Clowns and we see Takeomi twist the chubby ghoul’s head and killing him.
- They manage to survive but it was shown that Hirako was critically injured.
[AKIRA SIDE - she didn’t appear much in the last few chapters]
- Akira hears the Haise and Seidou fighting since it was accidentally broadcasted by Scarecrow. She asks Matsuri who it was but he doesn’t answer.
- Akira rushes over to where Haise is and then meets Seidou but Seidou runs away.
= It was revealed that there were two operations going on; one is the auction and the other is the transport of Quinque Steel which explains the lack of Special Classes throughout the operation. Aogiri tried to attack the Quinque Steel transport but failed.
