Asus, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch the Asus Zenfone 3 Max in India on November 9. The company has already launched all the Zenfone 3 series of smartphones in India. That being said, the Zenfone 3 Max typically belongs to Zenfone 3 series, however, it will be considered as an upgrade to Asus Zenfone Max with 5000mAh battery released this year itself.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes with an all-metal body instead of the glass body seen on all the Zenfone 3 smartphones. That said, the metal build doesn’t make the smartphone look bad either. Diving into the specifications of the phone, it comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display to keep hunt in the competition against the rivals such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K5 Note. The display comes with a pixel density of little over 400 pixels per inch.

Under the hood, there is the entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset which is an octa-core chip first seen on Xiaomi Redmi 3s and impressed many. The smartphone gets 3GB of RAM to manage the heavily bloated Asus Zen UI 3.0 running on Android Marshmallow. There is Adreno 505 GPU to manage the graphic intensive tasks.

In the camera department, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes with a 16MP rear camera with laser autofocus technology and LED flash light. Up front, there is an 8MP snapper to manage the selfies and video calls.

Speaking about the USP of the phone, it comes with a 4100mAh battery, which is slightlt a departure from the Asus Zenfone Max, which came out with a 5000mAh battery. However, Asus phones always surprised us with their battery life.

Asus scheduled a launch event on November 9, however, the company hasn’t revealed any pricing details as of now. But, keeping in mind the entry-level chipset, we are expecting the phone to be priced under Rs. 15,000. So, what do you think of this Asus Zenfone 3 Max?
