I have been slacking on making more canvas art for my room, but I got this fantastic Shape Tape in the mail and I knew that I needed to make something with my favorite thing to say to my hubby and kids, "Let's Cuddle!"
To make this, all you need is the Frog Tape® Shape Tape™ in your choice of design; (chevron, wave or scallop), paint, canvas and vinyl.
The tape is really easy to use, with it's slit liner on the back, it's just a matter of lining it up. It doesn't absorb to the canvas as well as it does to a wall, so there is a little bleeding there, but it worked good enough to make me happy! If you use it on the wall, which I fully intend to do when we get into our house, you will notice that it will absorb to the wall using PaintBlock® Technology, which means you really won't get much if any paint bleed. I used the same paint I used in this project and this one, I kind of love itI
I used my electronic cutter to cut out my vinyl saying and heart. It will go right above my side of the bed so it will be like I'm saying it…which makes me want to make a mirror image of it and have it say something that my husband always says and put it over his side. I don't know what I could put up there that would be appropriate for others to see though.
