Aloha beautiful divas!!!
Here is the review of a product which I brought on an impulse, on my recent trip to Walgreens. I was looking for Jordana and Milani products, but then I couldn’t resist a quick sneak peek into the Wet n Wild aisle. I came across these dirt cheap eye shadows and had to buy a couple of them.
Below is my experience with it.

My Experience with Wet N Wild Color Icon Suede Eye Shadow :
I already have a blue eye shadow by Deborah Milano, but that one is more on the darker side. Also, that one is not as bright blue in color, as this one. Hence, this one caught my attention and I thought it would be a good addition to my custom palette and would also help me to enhance my blue kohl look.
Packaging: Product is pressed in a tin case which is stuck to a 1.5”X1.5” square case with a see through lid. It is very cute and small, which makes it travel friendly and easy to lose at the same time.
Texture: On first look, the texture looks like it might be very gritty and powdery with lot of fall out, but good part is that, the glitter is homogeneous and subtle. The texture is powder like and one might find it a little difficult to work with on the first attempt, but it gets easier after a few tries.
Pigmentation: One can get a perfect look by applying a cream shadow or blue cream pencil as base and then patting the Wet n Wild Eye Shadow on the top. The end result would be amazing and one would not have to deal with gritty, annoying fall out.
Wear Time: Depends on how one uses this product, but if used with an appropriate base, the shadow won’t budge till it is tampered with. Also, it is waterproof and would come off only with a good makeup remover.
Conclusion: We all shell out money to buy expensive eye shadows to get those party looks, but this product does the same job, only for a way cheaper price. Also, it’s commendable how just two swipes give a vibrant blue shade and makes the eye shadow stand out. Once on lid with a good base, the product stays intact for a considerable amount of time until removed with a good makeup remover.
Pros of Wet N Wild Color Icon Suede Eye Shadow:
• Very cute, tiny packaging.
• Homogeneous, non-gritty texture.
• Can be used for mild glittery look.
• 7 shades to choose from and all are perfect for night out.
• No fall out.
• Water proof and needs a good makeup remover to remove.
• Easily available online or in stores.
• Worth the money paid.
Cons of Wet N Wild Color Icon Suede Eye Shadow:
• Can’t think of any, mostly because it is so cheap and cute.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Wet N Wild Color Icon Suede Eye Shadow??
Not this shade, but would love to get a red and golden one. I urge others to grab these babies whenever they come across them in makeup aisle.
