Monsoon is the season of romance. It’s raining outside as I am typing this, and the weather has become pleasant. I love monsoons, but it might feel a little gloomy at times. That’s why, last sunday, I tried this super bold and glam makeup look. I mostly go for soft lips but experimented a little this time to perk up my mood in this gloomy weather. I applied this dark brown shade on my lips and paired it with a retro glam cat eyeliner. Gladly, this combination worked so well. This look perfectly goes well with those hot black dresses. So if you’re bored of those regular makeup looks, give this bold look a try. It is super easy to create, and takes only a few minutes. So now, enjoy this step-by-step makeup tutorial.
Step 1:
I applied a face primer on my face and an eyelid primer on my eyes. I started this look with my eyebrows. Since I have thin brows, I first drew an outline for my them.
Step 2:
Next, I filled my brows in with a brown eyebrow powder and blended it with a spoolie. After finishing it, I applied some concealer under my brow line and also above my brows to highlight them; then, I set that area with a compact.
Step 3:
Next, I applied a light beige pink shade on my lid and blended the shadow smoothly. Then, with the help of a fluffy eyeshadow brush, I applied some light grey eyeshadow on my crease and blended it nicely.
Step 4:
Next, I applied a little of the dark grey shadow on my lid and blended it until it turned into a soft grey look. Then I also applied a light pink shade on my brow bone as well as on the inner corners of my eyes to highlight.
Step 5:
Next, I drew a small line on the upper eyelid and created the base of my glam cat eyes. Then I created only the outer winged line; I created a sharp line and then finally joined the line with my baseliner and filled up the rest of the eyeliner. Step 6:
Then I cleaned the shadow dust from my under eye area, and applied a concealer. I applied a black kajal on my lower lash line. Then I smudged the lower lash line a little with a small blending brush to make it look more natural.
Step 7:
Then, I curled my eyelashes and applied a mascara on my lashes. For this look, I even used a pair of false lashes. Then I corrected the eyeliner.
Step 8:
I applied my foundation and concealer as usual. But, for this look, I applied a darker concealer just below my cheekbones, side of my nose, on my forehead and jawline as a contour shade. I, then, use a makeup sponge to blend all the products and set everything in place with a compact.
Step 9:
After that, I again applied the highlighting concealer just under my contour to make it more prominent and clear. I also used a contouring powder to make my look softer and more natural. I skipped my blush and applied a bronzer on my cheeks.
Step 10:
After completing my face makeup, I applied a dark brown lip colour and concealed the area around my lips to highlight it. I finished my makeup with a makeup fixing spray.
