Sigma Precision Tapered Brush P86 Review

Remember my Sigma brushes haul? As promised, I will start reviewing the brushes one by one starting today with Sigma Precision Tapered Brush P86. When I first received my Sigma brushes, I was so happy and excited! The initial few days, I wouldn’t even allow anyone to touch them in the fear that they might get spoilt or worse “lost!” I used to keep them locked in my cupboard drawer, yeah I was getting paranoid because these were my prized possessions and I couldn’t afford to buy them again, boy these are an expensive lot, especially with the high shipping cost attached to them! Anyway, after a week, I eventually gave in and started using these beauties and was shocked! I cursed myself for not getting these earlier. The quality is simply out of this world! Started using the very famous F80 for my foundation application and never I got such flawless finish! Its a definite winner! Next, I wanted to try the concealer brush from the Sigma’s Synthetic Precision Kit P86 Precision Tapered Brush and now I cannot live without this brush and use it every single day. So, let’s get started with the review:
What Does Sigma Say about P86:
Unique Feature: Small, dense and tapered head. Function: Precise concealer application. Recommended Use: Exact placement of concealer in harder to reach areas such as around the eyes and nose, chin, and around the mouth. Bristle Type: Synthetic Sigmax. Length: 7 7/16 in. (18.8 cm).
Packaging: Precision Tapered brush P86 is about 19 cms long and bristles come packed in plastic cover to protect them while travelling. The handle is long and sturdy and perfect for holding the brush for under eye concealing. Overall, the brush looks classy and gives very professional feeling if you know what I mean
How To Use:
I wanted this brush for concealing the area around my eyes. I have got very deep rooted eyes due to which applying concealer to the extreme inner most area of eyes becomes difficult using the normal concealer brushes. I did some R&D and came to know that P86 is the most preferred brush for under eye areas. The bristles are densely packed yet soft and firm at the same time; soft enough to be used in the sensitive areas around the eyes and firm enough to blend the concealer well.
The pointed tip helps in applying the concealer to the inner corner of the eyes. No more streaky or patchy application! I also use it around the nose area and it does a fantastic job of blending concealer and giving a very natural finish. Never once has it irritated my skin. Can be used for all types of concealers; liquid, cream or powder. Washing the brush is easy.
I use baby shampoo to wash my brushes and this one has never shed a single hair until now and the surprising part is that it dries very fast! Usually, F80 brush takes almost a day to dry up, I always let my brushes air dry without any fans. This one takes about 8 to 10 hours only to dry! So, if you wash it in the night, it will be ready to use it next morning!

I absolutely have no problem with this brush and love it to the core! I highly recommend in investing Sigma brushes as they do deliver what they claim! Must try!
