exhibitions: "Designing Acadia: Creating Maine's National Park Experience" and "Images of Destruction: Remembering the Great Portland Fire of 1866."

Steampunk is the term used to describe how people in the 19th century might have envisioned the future. At the Southern Maine Steampunk Fair, you'll find crafters of
Victorian-futuristic art and crafts and will be entertained by wandering performers. You'll also visit with Queen Victoria and play Victorian lawn games. Family-friendly
costumes are encouraged as you immerse yourself in the fashion, culture, architectural style and inventions of the era, like those found in the pages of books by H.G. Wells
and Jules Verne.

of immigrant children living in Maine, as well as impromptu performances, a poetry writing workshop, food, games and activities for all ages. Give peace a chance!

Spend an early evening with Broadway star Adam Pascal. Pascal is best known for his role as Roger Davis in the original cast of Jonathan Larson’s Tony-winning musical
“Rent,” which first opened in 1996. He was also in the 2005 film version of the show. Pascal’s appearance in Kittery won’t last for five hundred, twenty-five thousand, six
hundred minutes, but it will be memorable. He’ll talk about his career, how he got started and what the “Rent” experience was like.
