There's no rest for the wicked and on Friday I'm going to Paris with some friends for the weekend so I thought I'd give you a little peak at what I'm taking along with me. Excessive? Yes. But did you expect any less from me....?

Hylamide Matte 12* | £23 | This is fast-becoming my favourite primer; it really helps stop the shine creeping in. It isn't silicone-y and is so quick and easy to apply. It smooths out my skin and makes sure my foundation applies smoothly and lasts as long as possible.

Clinique Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick | £23 | This is a great one for when I'm on the go because I can just throw it in my bag and touch up wherever I am. It's one of my favourite more minimal makeup bases at the moment because it gives such a natural and healthy look without too much shine (though I do always set my t-zone). It isn't the longest-wearing foundation in my stash, which is the only drawback.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Stay in Place Makeup | £31 | This is a medium-full coverage foundation that's incredibly long-lasting, so I do occasionally add a tiny bit of it around my t-zone when I'm wearing the Clinique Chubby Stick to make sure my base wears well. I like to use it on its own for a more matte, evening look. Despite having a matte finish it isn't drying and doesn't settle into pores; it just looks so flawless.

Urban Decay Concealers and Colour Correcting Fluid in Peach | £17.50 each | When I'm travelling, I like to take with me products that I just know I can trust; it isn't the time to be trying anything new or untested! I can always rely on these concealers to cover everything from intense dark circles to huge blemishes. I know it won't slide off if my face gets a bit sweaty and won't look dry or caky under my eyes. I use the Peach correcting colour under my eyes to cancel out some of the darkness. I then go in with the lighter skin-toned concealer to brighten the area. I use a darker shade in the concealer to cover up blemishes. These have the nicest, lightest texture that blends out like a dream.

MAC Mineralise Skinfinish Natural | £24 | This is a powder I've fallen for all over again after forgetting about it for a while. It's just the most natural, non-cakey powder. It mattes down my t-zone but doesn't take away any of the glow. It does have coverage but appears completely traceless on the skin. It really helps to set down my makeup too, ensuring the concealer under my eyes doesn't crease.

YSL Touche Eclat | £25 | This is a pricey but now essential step in my routine! I have tried other options which did work well but didn't quite suit me as well as the shade 4.5 in this. Anyway, I like to apply a bit of this over my under-eye concealer to brighten the area a bit. It's also a great one to have in your handbag because you can quickly brush a bit on under your eyes if you're looking a bit tired later in the day.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Moonstone | £30 | This is a beautiful, not at all greasy cream highlighter that gives a natural, dewy glow to my skin. It's so quick and easy to dab on the cheekbones and is a stunning pearly white gold shade. It's impossible to go overboard with this and it isn't too glittery at all.

Becca Mineral Blush in Songbird | £ | T

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love | £25 | This is my blusher that just goes with everything so I almost always pack it for a trip away. It's an understated mauve-nude that does have a bit of a sheen but appears matte on the cheeks. It's so easy to apply without any patchiness and wears well on my skin throughout the day.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Bronzed | £ | Not too warm, not too cool - this is pretty much my perfect matte powder bronzer. It really adds dimension and warmth to my face with minimal effort. I never have to worry about going overboard with this and I never have to spend ages blending it out or worry about it not going on smoothly.

Urban Decay Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion | £16 | This is my everyday eyeshadow primer that really makes any eyeshadows apply on top of it show true to colour and with full pigmentation. It also ensures they last well and don't crease.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Copper | £23 | I've really been loving this recently for an all-over-the-lid wash of colour. It's such a pretty warm coppery-gold shimmer that's fully opaque and very creamy. However it also has amazing longevity and doesn't crease or wear off when it's been a long day. It's actually really similar the Charlotte Tilbury's Eyes to Mesmerise in Bette, which doesn't last on me at all - so if you suffer from oily eyelids and liked the look of that shade then try this!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Taupe | £ | I've mentioned it a thousand times but it really is that perfect cream base for powder eyeshadows. It's a mid-toned brown with slightly warm undertones that isn't too far away from my natural skin tone. It's very opaque and easy to blend out so it takes me a few seconds to apply and evens out the tone of my eyelids and ensures my eyeshadow lasts as long as possible.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Quad with Eyeshadow Pans: Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma, Coloured Raine Golden Olive, Anastasia Beverly Hills Red Earth & MAC Twinks | £4.95-£10 each | Isn't this just the perfect Autumn eyeshadow palette? I like to use my little Anastasia quad for travel because it fits all the brands of eyeshadow pans that I own. Shimma Shimma is my go-to inner corner highlight because it's an off-white shimmer that lasts even on my watery eyes. The Coloured Raine eyeshadows are new to me (I have a haul and review including the shades I got coming up later this week) but I'm impressed so far. Golden Olive is a stunning antique gold shimmer with olive undertones that applies smoothly and looks really pretty. Red Earth is a reddish-pink-brown matte crease colour that's pigmented and easy to blend out. Finally, I have a darker shade for the outer corner; MAC Twinks, which is a muted plum shimmer with a reddish tone.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Beware | £14 | Just in case I fancy using a more neutral brown matte crease colour with the quad or the Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick, I'm packing this one from Urban Decay I've rediscovered recently. It's so smooth and easy to blend but still has amazing payoff and wear well on me. It's just a mid-toned brown that's got a very slightly warm tone.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black | £14.50 | Standard me! Of course my favourite eyeliner pen is in the mix - I just don't feel like I'm wearing a full face of makeup without winged liner. This is so precise and pigmented plus stays in place without smudging or transferring.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Stag, Smog & Underground | £15.50 | This is my favourite crayon liner formula. They're creamy and apply smoothly but set down and don't budge. Stag is a slightly sheeny charcoal shade that I use to tight line. I then use either Smog or Underground on the bottom waterline for a softer look than black. Smog is subtly shimmery brown-gold-bronze to go with warmer eyeshadow and Underground (a similar but more taupe-bronze colour) for a cooler look.

Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil & Brush in Hot Chocolate | £8 | Does this really need an introduction any more? I honestly find this to be just as good as the Anastasia Brow Wiz (though be warned; it doesn't come in as many shades). It has a great spooly to brush out my brows, the twist-up pencil is very fine and precise and gives a very natural look. I never worry about going overboard with this and it just always does the job.

Benefit Gimme Brow Gel in 03 Medium* | £18.50 | I like to set my brows in place with this tinted gel. This isn't at all thick or crispy, it just gives a very natural hold and a bit of colour. Alternatively, if I'm having a minimal makeup day, this is nice on its own when I'm in a rush.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara | £7.99 | No surprises here! I can always rely on this mascara so of course it goes into my makeup bag. I love how long and curled it makes my lashes look and the clump-free volume it gives. It's one of those mascaras that works for day or night because you can build on it without it going all 'spidery'. I find it holds a curl well and doesn't flake or smudge on me.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in 10 Pink Shimmer* | £18 | I don't normally go for glosses but this formula really works for me; it isn't thick and gloopy and doesn't stick my lips together! It's just a really pretty Summery pink shade which does contain a very subtle shimmer that makes your lips look nice and full. This is going to be my minimal makeup option and I'll probably throw it on the morning we go to Paris.

Colourpop Matte Lippie Stix in Brink | $5 | UK Shipping | This is one of my favourite lip colours; though it;s billed as matte it definitely has a creamy, satin finish. It's a very comfortable formula that lasts well (though not quite as long as a 'true' matte formula). It's a gorgeous mid-toned warm brown nude with slightly mauve undertones.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Mehr | £15.50 | Now Autumn is on the way it's time to bring this old favourite back out. It's a gorgeous dusky pink shade that works for day or night. It's very creamy and non-drying despite the long-wearing matte finish.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II | $20 | Hopefully by the time this post goes up, Kat Von D will have landed in Debenhams - I am on the sign-up list but haven't got an email as of yet. It's a slightly more drying liquid lipstick formula but I find a bit of lip balm sorts that out. I've really fallen for this shade lately; it's a gorgeous warm terracotta shade.
