Living stress free seems to be something Kenneth Bager (aka Dr Baker) has figured out. The Danish artist known for downtempo tunes is releasing a 20-track escape January 12th, but you can listen to a preview mix right here, right now.
Right from the beginning you’ll notice you’ve landed somewhere that couldn’t be further from the club. The compilation features new and current tracks, mixing Balearic beats with chill grooves, giving it a tropical, dream-like vibe. No matter where you are, it’s warm, sunny and sandy when you’re listening to this. It also might be 1987 with all those smooth, jazzy analog synths.
Copenhagen 2015 follows other releases from the always cool Danish label Music For Dreams. “Sunset Sessions #2″, “Cafe Mambo – Twilight Sessions”, and “Best Of” mixes carry equally relaxed, but slightly different vibes. Kenneth Bager has been promoting music on air for four decades and currently has a weekly radio show for Ibiza Sonica.
