The Jon Armstrong Magician Masterclass in Manchester went down a storm as master magician Jon Armstrong taught many of his incredible card effects along with his philosophies towards good magical performance and how to enhance your magic in a logical fashion. Jon puts so much thought into EVERY SINGLE MOVE that he does, it’s really refreshing to see someone who cares so much for the art.
Our masterclass covered many aspects on card magic and his thinking behind the way he performs. We learned switches, deals, false counts and so much more and the best part of it was the practicality of each effect and sleight. As he said why perform a difficult sleight method when there is an easier and more suitable one for the job.
The masterclass have been complete without the Tiny Plunger at the end which seeing it live performed to some colleagues in the office we rented later that evening was fabulous and really showed how strong his style of magic and the tiny plunger effect is.
