Tip Comment: Urban Explorer hasn’t been far away of late against tougher company to what he meets here. In fact looks to have clear class edge on rivals here. Suggest he only needs to jump these cleanly to be winning. Dumosa likely pacemaker certainly capable of displaying sharp improvement here in a race which does lack obvious depth. Wai Not P’roni dropping sharply in weight on recent consistent efforts and also worthy of consideration.
Race Comment: Just a moderate line-up greeting the starter here for this Steeple. As touched on above keen Urban Explorer is at least a class or two superior to rivals here & with the services of S.Pateman shapes as a good bet, even at the rather skinny $2.40 currently available. Also keen Dumosa ($10) presents as value.

Tip Comment: No Song No Supper yet to finish out of the money in all 6 jumps starts to date. Expect recent formlines to stack up big time for this much easier affair. Simply looks too good. Compelled finally broke jumps maiden at start number 8 last start scoring well deserved win. This however is much tougher. Baklava Boy handy flat performer certainly capable of running a race here if he jumps these cleanly.
Race Comment: After the scratching of the only apparent danger in Angelology this really appears to be a put in take out…as long as No Song No Supper stays on his feet. Again enjoys the services of Pateman, at the current $2.20 that is good shopping! Baklava Boy ($16) best roughie.

Tip Comment: Jacksay had absolutely no luck on debut. After getting well back & badly held-up then proceeded to charge hard late….seriously should have won! Gets his chance to atone here. Coerced Witness promising type resuming. Was outstanding in only two race starts last prep when kept hitting the line strongly after encountering trouble on each occasion. Burst Away debutant that was so impressive leading t’out (displaying good natural pace) in recent trial…untouched!
Race Comment: Hard to predict an accurate speed map with limited formlines to go on. Despite this sure we will see some more than handy types engaged here with main focus on Jacksay ($3.90), Coerced Witness ($6.50), Burst Away ($5), One For One ($6.50) & Alaskan Jade ($19). Personally keeping a close eye on market movements and treating race with some caution.

Surely peaks for this seemingly easier race….best bet! Hostile better suited dropping back to own age & gets massive positive rider change with M.Neilson jumping back aboard. Rocket Commander keeps hitting the line nicely in her races & this doesn’t look to be any tougher.
Race Comment: Expecting both Emma’s Hurricane & Hostile to set the pace here with Loqueteux & Bon Elise looking to enjoy nice on-pace trails. Really keen here on Pendlebury (nice horse!)….so much so suggesting the current $2.50 is definite value! Respecting/saving on both Hostile ($6.50) & Rocket Commander ($8.50). Happy to lay Loqueteux at current short $4.20.

Star Recruit comfortable/impressive last start winner rising sharply to the 2100m here for the first time. Still deserves the utmost of respect.
Race Comment: Expect them to run this at a genuine tempo with Duckovny, Elegant Rush, Danouli, Timelyinterruption, Aspoton, Miss Eejay & Milkwood all capable of going forward. Surely this ensures a true staying test with Cuz’n Now ($7.50) appearing to be great e/way value. Dangers Sir Laszlo ($3.60-too short) with Star Recruit ($6-value), Civetta ($15-overs) & Milkwood ($17-overs) all also worthy investments.

Clair huge 1st-up winner before racing flat last time out. Sharp improvement expected here.
Race Comment: Tough/open race. Speed aplenty here with Courtside, Leahone, Tom’s Luck, Get Pronto & Boldacious Girl all looking to drive forward. Gone looking for some value here with Azzcool ($17) presenting as real nice overs e/way. Big danger Kungsleden however just looks too short at current $4.60. Others that appeal at opening prices include Clair ($9) with a couple of roughies Stravinsky Code ($26) & Secretmensbusiness ($26) also appealing.

Appears very well placed here is able to find somewhere like best form. Capodecina simply doesn’t know how to run a bad race. Expecting pretty much again the same here.
Race Comment: Kinertic Energy, Astro Damus, River’s Lane & Frost Dodger all map to go forward on what should be a genuine tempo. Tipping River’s Lane to register a much deserved win with the opening $7 certainly appealing (nice e/way bet). Conservatorium quality galloper on his day that was much better 2nd-up. Fitter & maps ideally here.
Race Comment: Strong tempo with Raise A Dream, Classy Jack, Karacatis, Ustinov’s Fury, Conservatorium & Justify That all capable of driving hard early. Pretty keen both Double Pockets ($4.80) & Karacatis ($4.80) have clear edge on rivals here. Monitoring both Conservatorium ($8.50-rates $9) & Daytona Grey ($8.50-rates $11) with Classy Jack also appealing as overs at current $14. Roughie Mr Good Cat ($35).

Gets in great against these after claim! Sun Dry desperately unlucky just last week never getting a clear crack at them when still finished close-up. Scored dominant 4.3L win only other start this track/dist! Marco Polo won 2/3 last starts including impressive/strong 2.1L win just last week. Definitely respecting especially on quick back-up.
Race Comment: Large field, strong tempo with On A Dream, Spun Dry, Mermaid Run & Rain Attack expected to be those most prominent early. Do like Herenoa ($5) to round things out nicely for us ahead of Spun Dry ($4.60-unders want $5.50). At the opening odds also keen to entertain Marco Polo ($11), Mermaid Run ($12), House Of Wax ($16) & Marble Rye ($21).
