Lola’s Cafe facebook

If you are someone that looking for nice and good Brunch food, Lola’s cafe is one that you must not missed. With Lola’s Cafe situated within walking distance from Kovan MRT, there should not be any complaint that the place is too ulu. It is only about 3-5 minutes walk from Kovan MRT Station, take the exit towards Simon Road and you’ll see the cafe on your left after you walked pass Kovan Residences (condominium). If you still cannot find it, look for the long queue. For those driving , there are parallel parking slots along the stretch of Simon Road too. (If you are not so good in parallel parking, the only carpark you can park is the opposite the road and you will need to cross the road after parking)

From reviews and researches from other sources, we know that there are always long queue for this great food and that is why we chose to go there early in the morning at 1015am trying to skip the queue. Upon reaching, we are welcomed by friendly waiters and waitress and immediately we are able to get a seat. (There are already 3-4 seats occupied at this moment, in just about 30 minutes while we are savouring our nice breakfast, the cafe is fully packed and it is just 1045am) So for those who want to try but don’t like queue, you might want to come early.

We ordered Lola’s Full Monty Breakfast (SGD 15 nett) and it consists of a gourmet bratwurst sausage, honey-baked ham, honey bacon, scrambled eggs, garden salad and multigrain toast. The sausage was awesome! Ham was very fragrant, bacon was tasty (usually i don’t take bacon), toast was yummy, garden salad tasted just right but the scrambled eggs is normal.

Beside the Fully Monty breakfast, we also tried out the Mushroom and Cheese toast priced at $10 NETT that consists of hot toasted foccacia topped with creamy swiss mushroom, onions and melted mozzarella and served with garden salad. MUST try if you are a mushroom lover!

How can a big breakfast comes without Kopi? So we got ourselves a Mocha priced at $5 NETT, definitely a LIKE for coffee lover!

In short, its a nice cafe, with decent food at a decent price and conveniently located to the Kovan MRT station. Most importantly, there is not service charges and GST. (But you still have someone serving you with a big smile always)
