Following the success of its inaugural outlet at Pasarbella Suntec City, Cajun On Wheels brings Louisiana-style seafood to more fans with a new outlet at Plaza Singapura. The new outfit, conveniently located along Orchard Road features a large kitchen area and spacious seating for 82 diners.

Cajun on Wheels is well-known for their extensive menu of indulgent seafood buckets, as well as sauce selection which includes Salted Egg Yolk, Cajun Cheese, Cheesy Cream, Cajun Herb & Butter, Chilli Egg, Thai Red Curry and Sambal Tumis

The following items are new dishes available at the Plaza Singapura Outlet.

Without reservations, we dived into the Nice Platter ($39.90), which consist Hokkaido Scallops, Seabass, Tiger Prawns accompanied with either Pilaf Rice or Aglio Olio pasta. The Hokkaido Scallops were plump and succulent, whilst the prawns had a crunch which can only come from being fresh. The seafood were doused in an enticing Herb and Butter sauce enhanced with zesty note, hence was not at all cloying. The fragrant aglio olio was great too!

The Mussels Stew ($21.90) tantalised the taste buds with its spicy and tangy tomato broth. The stew was amazing- I wished for some bread to mop up every single drop!

Get your crustacean and carnivorous cravings gratified with Crusty C.O.W Burger ($39.90), a hearty Surf and Turf treat comprising of a full serving of freshly grilled lobster and juicy beef patty sandwiched between toasted butter buns. This delightful creation not only provides the best of both worlds, but also delivers a level of gastronomic bliss like no other. Comes with a beverage and side of Cajun Fries, Sweet Potato Fries or Purple Slaw.

If you’re dining alone, fret not, there’re ocean boxes sets offered too. New options include Mixed Seafood ($11.50) which features Sutchi fillet, prawns and mussels and Soft Shell Crab ($16.50). Customers can choose from fries, sweet potato fries, purple coleslaw, corn, aglio olio or rice pilaf as accompaniments. Cajun On Wheels Ocean Boxes are available for take-away, hence making these an ideal choice for busy office workers with no time to waste.

New side options include Clam Chowder ($5.90), Lobster Bisque ($6.90), Fried Mushrooms ($4.90) and Fried Squid ($8.50 for original, $10.50 for salted egg yolk). We had a little tummy space left, hence could only sample the Lobster Bisque, which robust and intense. No regrets!

I highly recommend coming in a group to share the joy, as there are simply too many temptations in one place! Halal-certified Cajun On Wheels also caters to our Muslim friends, plus there’s no GST or service charge. What’s more? Plastic aprons are provided to protect your outfits from mishaps so one can feast wholeheartedly.
