Yevadu was supposed to be released in July 2013 but due to the political situation in Andhra Pradesh the release of the film was delayed.Though there were talks of the release date being shifted a couple of times, nothing was officially confirmed.Finally the film will release on 12th Jan 2014.Ram Charan’s last hit was Naayak which was released on Sankranti period. Dil Raju is the producer of the film whose last film Ramayya Vasthavayya was a flop. The film features Shruti Hassan and Amy Jackson in female lead roles. The film also has Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggrawal in cameo. The film will be dubbed into Malayalam and Tamil.
The director of the film is Vamshi Paidipally whose last film was with NTR Junior’s Brindavanam which was a box office success. While the music is by Devi Sri Prasad, C.Ramprasad is the DOP and Marthand K.Ventatesh is the editor.The trailer shows that Ram Charan is on some kind of mission, where in he seems to be disposing of villains one by one. Surpisingly it is Kajal and Allu Arjun who gets more screen time in trailer than the two female leads. Interestingly the film says it is a Pongal release,which is strange considering Andhra Pradesh generally celebrates Sankranti and not Pongal. After the disastrous Thoofan/Zanjeer let us see if Ram Charan Teja manages to bounce back with another Sankranti hit.Do drop in your comments about the trailer.
