I can’t believe today is the first day of September! I know we technically have a few more weeks of summer (and let’s be honest, a couple more months here in Dallas!) but Labor Day always feels like the start of a new season to me. And even though I don’t plan on retiring my white jeans anytime soon, I’m excited for our next visit to Connecticut to experience a little sweater weather. Who else lives for fall clothes?!

Splendid recently sent me a few items from their new fall arrivals and I fell in love with this gray off-the-shoulder top. I always love Splendid basics — my dresser is brimming with tees and tanks, some of which I’ve had since high school! — and this one is no exception. Their fabrics are always super soft and extra cozy as we head into fall and winter!
I decided to pair it with all neutral accessories, including a killer pair of suede booties, for an easy transitional outfit.
