Apple has now officially invited the media to an October 22nd special media event at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
The event starts at 10am PDT/1pm EDT and is widely expected to usher in a new iPad and iPad mini with Retina display along with the new Mac Pro and OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
