Remember when I tweeted last week of the Great Charlotte Tilbury Blush Disaster? Don’t worry, a new blush is on its merry way but I DO want to share the rest of the Charlotte Tilbury makeup products I’ve been playing around as they just launched on July 13th in Holt Renfrew Vancouver. Charlotte Tilbury makeup has was all over my Instagram feed and, honestly, I haven’t heard the name come up until then. But I love checking out the new in the beauty world AND this is a UK brand so I am extremely curious to see whats it all about and I’m slapping myself on the wrist for not shopping enough when I was in England two years ago.
The British makeup line, Charlotte Tilbury, launched in Toronto not too long ago and I remember looking at the pictures thinking how glamorous everything was. So if you’re in Vancouver and ready to splurge or try some Charlotte Tilbury makeup then check how Holt Renfrew in Downtown Vancouver (Pacific Centre South, 737 Dunsmuir St, Vancouver, BC V7Y 1E4) There will be a DJ and refreshemnts in store all week as well as makeovers done by Tilbury artists! Here’s a glimpse of some products that you can expect to find at the Charlotte Tilbury counter:

And here goes my ‘Charlotte Tilbury’ look of the day. The eyeshadow palette I got is “The Glamourous Muse.” It is a quad with pink and smokey purple colours. The first shadow (the light white-pink) is the “prime” colour, the rose gold shade is “enhance colour,” the taupe is the “smoke” colour, and lastly, the purple is the “pop” colour. All the shades are smooth and buttery, except the purple has a bit of a grittiness to it; extra swipes were needed to pack the colour on.
The Rock N’ Kohl surprised me, I generally don’t like any pencil liners but this was very easy to apply and one line gave ample colour. Also, it didn’t smudge everwhere! The Full Fat Lashes Mascara claims to give you 5 things- curl, drama, separation, volume, and length. I loved the length and separation, but would’ve preferred more volume for that dramatic effect.
I’m opting to use the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in the look, the Lip Lustre and Lip Cheat Lip Liner will be saved for a future review! Apart from the eyeshadow palettes, I read a lot about Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick so I was excited to lather that over my lips. I am wearing the colour “Velvet Underground” and one swipe gave me vibrant fuschia. And the creaminess of it *stars in eyes….*

This isn’t the last of Charlotte Tilbury on my blog as I’m awaiting for the blush and review the other lip products! If I had to narrow to my favourites, it would be the K.I.S.S.I.NG lipstick and Rock N’ Kohl Liquid Eye Pencil. And I have a feeling I’m going to love the blush a lot too.
