Westlake Culinary Institute, home of the Let’s Get Cookin’ school, permanently closed its doors Jan. 31 after more than 30 years in business.
David Borger, who bought the cooking supply store and gourmet cooking school two years ago, attributed the closure to competition from larger chain retailers and online outlets.
