I just wanted to send a note of appreciation to the entire team of WASA—from the front line customer service representatives in Chaguanas, the back office management team and the technical field engineering team—for successful diagnostics and repair of a severe water leak that was causing damage to the public road infrastructure which would have spread to my building and property.

Two previous crews came to provide diagnostic capability and left without successfully finding the water leak.

This team of individuals acted expeditiously and professionally. They minimised the damage to private property since the water mains were buried over six feet deep under the boulevard area of the property which was paved for the purpose of a driveway to the property.

The WASA customer care front line team in the Chaguanas office did an amazing job of facilitating the request, escalating, transferring the job to the appropriate team, keeping us informed prior to the team being dispatched and following up when the team completed the job.

This technical team spent over six hours with a combination of heavy machinery and manual labour to locate the water main, identify the issue, then effectively deal with the root cause of the problem that caused the leak.

There were a host of individuals and I am sure that I will miss a few names, but special acknowledgement, in no particular of importance to the “A team”: Kenrick Harrycharan, Ryan Pope, Shiv Boodram, Kevin Collymore, Selwyn Andrews, Jamal Joseph, Shad Barrow, Jason Eligon, Ryan Castro and WASA Customer Care team (Chaguanas).

Keep up the amazing work.
