Years ago in Positano people stored water in Roman style arched cisterns built in their gardens.
The houses built nearby were named for what was near and thus was born firstLa Cisternaand later the Piccola Cisterna built above it. The Piccola Cisterna’s large master bedroom with ensuite bath with tub and shower and a second bath with shower and washing machine makes for luxurious living. The living room has a sofa bed that can sleep two. Adjoining the living room is the fully fitted kitchenette.
