CSA pickup at Lunds & Byerlys stores
Once again. we’ve partnered with two local farms to make your CSA pickup even
easier! Starting in mid-June, you can pick up CSA boxes from Axdahl Garden Farm & Greenhouse and Harmony Valley Farm at any Twin Cities Lunds & Byerlys location.
CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture, is a popular way for city residents to buy high quality seasonal produce directly from local farmers. In order to participate, you simply sign up for a “share” of the produce – typically a box of vegetables that is delivered on a regular basis – every week, month, or whatever terms you agree to when you sign up. Joining a CSA is a great way to eat fresh, local food and to sample vegetables that you may not have tried before.

Axdahl’s
Garden Farm & Greenhouse is a family-owned farm and
longtime Lunds & Byerlys partner, supplying our stores with delicious local produce. Located in Stillwater’s St. Croix valley, they grow and harvest top-quality fresh veggies: sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers and more! Their produce is also sustainably grown and pesticide-free. When you sign up, you’ll receive a box of seasonal produce every week from mid-June until October.

Harmony Valley Farm, located in a beautiful spring-fed valley in southwest Wisconsin, has been growing certified organic vegetables for CSA families for over 20 years. The farm is co-owned by Richard de Wilde and Andrea Yoder. With over 40 years of experience, they continue striving to grow the highest quality, certified organic produce possible. The farm also provides year-round habitat for songbirds, bats, bees and other beneficial insects to help with pest control and maintain a healthy ecosystem. Richard and Andrea also take great care to maintain plant and soil health by using integrated systems of cover cropping, compost applications and crop rotations.
Harmony Valley Farm offers one of the longest CSA delivery seasons in the Midwest, with deliveries from May through December. Certified organic vegetable & fruit shares are available for delivery to any of our Lunds & Byerlys store locations. You’ll receive clean, carefully handled produce that has been properly cooled and delivered to you within days of harvest.
