I’ve been eyeing murphy beds for a while and really want to build one. Seen a few on Craigslist but the owners still want a lot.
They arent cheap to build either unless you do the Moddi Bed Ikea plan or Lori plan which both run around $300.
My question to you all…
For $160 I can buy a full size 20 year Murphy Bed frame, intact and functional. Is that worth it? I offered $100 and seller said no. I would then build a box with a wood floor, screw the box to the wall and then screw the frame to the floor of the box.
Just curious if for $160 its worth it as many of the DIY kits are $250 for the hardware.
