I made this maple bookshelf for my niece. The lumber was given to me by her grandfather and was drying in his basement for the last 40 years. I knew I had to do something special with the wood so I designed this unique bookshelf that my niece could enjoy for a lifetime. It’s finished with polyurethane.
When I delivered the bookshelf, she immediately opened the drawer and hopped in!
