My Granddaughter was featured in a short article in ScrollSaw Woodworking & Crafts magazine issue 54. Also in the magazine was this butterfly box. She fell in love with it and has been bugging me for months to help her make it. So, this past week we spent some time in the shop and made her butterfly box. She is so excited to put her jewelry in it. She did some of the scrolling and helped with the glue ups and some sanding. The woods are poplar, purple heart, hickory, cherry, walnut and koa. Finished with several coats of spray lacquer.
