I’ll be using:
Blender
Ableton Live + some vsts
Libgdx
Some general utility code i.e basic skin for libgdx, noise libs, color stuff
Multilight normal shader from https://github.com/mattdesl/lwjgl-basics/wiki/ShaderLesson6
blender script I made for easier rendering workflow, and a normalmap material
source code and blend file here:

Don’t quite know what I’m gonna make till the theme comes out but I’ve got some general goals:
PCG (ish) tiles with blender. I’m gonna try to do some full 8-bit bitmasked tiles with lots of variations. probably quite low-res. I’ve recently realized how useful blender shape keys are for PGC and I was quite happy with how my tiles turned out in my LD31 game, so hopefully I can do something a little more complex this time around.
Turn-based, just because I haven’t made a turn-based game before. It’s gonna be pretty basic, I don’t know how good the character animations will be or really what to do with them yet. I kinda want to make something rpg-ish with different layers of armour/different weapons, but I also want to keep it simple so we’ll see how long the map tiles take. Character animations will be basic auto-ik stuff in blender and just a basic boxy mesh, no fancy stuff.
Hopefully I can get the shader and stuff working, it could potentially look really cool.
Keeping it greasy and low-fi.
Hopefully I can improve on sound and storytelling this time, my previous entries have fallen short in those categories.
