Troubled singer Lauryn Hill dressed conservatively in a blue tunic coat over black slacks and a blue knit sweater as she entered a New Jersey courthouse yesterday. Hill’s attorney, Nathan Hochman, said in an email to TIME magazine Monday that Hill paid $970,000 to satisfy state and federal back taxes.
