Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is the heart and soul of Stanford Children’s Health. Nationally ranked and internationally recognized, our 311-bed hospital is devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics. Our six centers of excellence provide comprehensive services and deep expertise in key obstetric and pediatric areas: brain & behavior, cancer, heart, pregnancy & newborn, pulmonary and transplant. We also provide an additional, wide range of services for babies, kids and pregnant moms.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator performs a wide variety of activities to support the end-to-end recruitment process, and coordinate special programs under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager. Serving as an integral partner to recruiters in facilitating recruitment activities and building candidate relationships, the TA Coordinator provides administrative, project management and logistical support throughout the hiring process by direct interaction with the hiring managers, vendors and candidates. In addition to assuming responsibility for supporting the Talent Acquisition process through pre- and post-hire activities, this position provides support and assistance to the recruiters for annual programs such as New Grad Nursing Recruitment. Assists with events and ad hoc projects as needed.
Essential Functions
Manages the job posting process and assumes responsibility for updating and maintaining the posting library in PeopleSoft
Coordinates and completes all pre-employment screening processes individually, or in collaboration with the vendor, including but not limited to: reference and background checks, pre-employment health screening, and licensure/degree/certification verifications
Manages candidate relocation arrangements, provides support to relocating candidates, and ensures compliance of the relocation program
Serves as a liaison with internal and external candidates on matters relating to onboarding activities
Coordinates the contingent workforce program with Adecco Staffing and ensures that the temporary staffing needs of the hospital departments are addressed in a timely manner
Guides and consults clients on appropriate contingent workforce needs and other types of non-employees such as temporary workers, Independent Contractors, consultants, and vendors in order to meet critical staffing needs
Provides support for Recruiters with sourcing, reviewing resumes and screening applicants during high requisition workload for the team
Plans and executes arrangements and logistics for all career-related events, job fairs and conferences
Maintains direct working relationships with existing vendor base to support current and future business needs
May be required to take on recruitment for entry level positions
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
