The New Option OA is a pull-up, buttressed, “soft” brace for patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis. The buttressed sleeve aids in knee alignment, provides compression, and is easy to apply. Proximal and distal closures enhance fitting for atypical OA patients. Thigh and calf paddles and lock-down straps control rotation, while the Ezy Hinge controls extension. The design allows a right medial brace to convert to a left lateral brace, and a left medial brace will convert to a right lateral brace, which reduces inventory requirements. The lightweight, low-profile brace is made in the US.
