Undoubtedly, the 2016 presidential campaign will go into the books as one of the most contentious bids for the White House. Candidates from both major parties are making lots of promises to convince voters that they are, in fact, the only real choice for president.

Just like in past elections, this means the candidates have spewed quite a few funny, odd and, at times, inappropriate lines.

For Dave Campbell of Ohio, these comments are a goldmine so he created a game, Bad Campaign, that will have you laughing about politics.

The game, described as a mash-up between Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity, pits players against each other as they take turns as voters and candidates. And, just like in real life, no political knowledge is required. To play, “voters read gray fill-in-the-blank cards containing campaign slogans, political promises and awkward statements.”

Then the candidate uses an answer card to fill in the blank — and the funnier the answer the better because players vote on which candidate’s answer is the best. The first candidate to secure enough votes wins the White House — and the game.

Since the game uses real-life campaign slogans, promises, and awkward quotes from real presidential campaigns, the possibilities for laughs are nearly endless. Considering how contentious the 2016 presidential campaign season has been, that’s a good thing.

The game can be purchased on Amazon and in select stores. It sells for $25.
