After Paul Walker’s family claimed the remains of the Fast and Furious actor from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office last Monday, the family was said to be in touch with several stunt experts who have gone to the crash site.
According to recent news reports, stunt experts believe in solid theory that the speeding sports car hit the plastic markers, Botts’ Dots, with hydroplane. As a result, the driver of the Porsche Carrera GT lost control of the vehicle.
The experts have explained that a vehicle going 90 MPH will lose traction after hitting after a series of Botts’ Dots. They have further discussed the similarity of driving on ice and driving on a series of Botts’ Dots. In both given circumstances, the control is compromised since Porsche was outfitted with special racing tires that have very minimal tread.
Their claims were further reinforced by a previous memo sent out by Porsche to its dealers way back in 2004. Below is the screenshot of the original photo of the said memo obtained by TMZ.
So far, authorities were said to be looking at the Botts’ Dots as a possible factor that may have triggered the fiery car crash.
On November 30, Walker and his friend Roger Rodas, died after the Porsche Carrera GT that they were riding veered off the road before hitting a tree, resulting in fiery crash, which killed both.
At this moment, Walker’s remains are with his family. However, it is still unclear when the funeral will take place.
Unfortunately for Walker’s fans in Los Angeles, they can’t be able to attend the beloved actor’s funeral since recent reports have it that the family prefers a private and solemn funeral for the sake of the actor’s 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
“We don’t have to be physically present at the funeral to grieve in his last moment on earth. We can still pray for his resurrection even afar. The young lady understandably needs to be comfortable with the people that surround her during this difficult time. The good man once belonged to the crowd. Now, let us give his family alone a chance to cherish his last moment on earth,” the car accident attorney said.
